Military Experience
Attached above is a video from a close friend of mine on one of our Squadron's combat deployments. I am an Honorably recognized service member enlisted as an Aviation Machinist's Mate in the Military. My Military to Civilian transition has been one of my most transformative experience in my life that has led me on my personal development journey. I believe every Militay Veteran who transitioned to civilian lifestyle is a great asset to any team because we are experienced in high stressed environments and complete our missions successfully.
In my time in the Military, I have held various leadership responsibilities from leading teams as a night shift Supervisor, participated on two 9-month combat deployments, and multiple ship detachments.
I have been awarded the following Medals, Badges, Campaign Ribbons:
Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Enlisted Avaition Warfare Specialist, Navy Pistol Marksmanship Ribbon
IT Industry Experience
After my service in the Military, I have made a choice to pursue higher education. I had to find my way from trying the Health and Wellness industry becoming a certified ACE Personal Trainer, and shadowing Physical and Occupational Therapists to eventually finally finding my passion in pursuing Information Technology.
I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work at my University as an IT Security student worker (2years), IT Professional at Defense and Space (2years), IT Consultant at an IT Consulting Services (1year), and globally recognized charitable industry (1year).
During my IT career, I have acquired the following certifications:
MS-900: Microsoft 365 Certified, MD-100: Endpoint Windows Client, Splunk Certified Power User V6, Okta Fundamentals Certified, AZ-204: Azure Developer Associate (NetCom course), AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals (NetCom course)

What I have learned and beyond
All things considered, I have learned and overcame many challenges transitioning from the Military to Technology which has led me on my journey to self improvement and acquired many lessons Personally, Professionally, and Spiritually.
I believe knowledge and experience are better shared with others and thus making me a big proponent of the Continious Integration Continious Developement (CI/CD) software development methodology. I believe in individual's personal continious development and integrating newfound awareness to better the team and the community to help everyone move forward and progress. I am currently studying for the CompTIA Security+ and seeking opportunities that will enable me to share my Military and IT experiences in successfully coordinating functional initiatives with future industries.
